There is a wide range of disabled parking at Liverpool Airport available, with both accessible bays and 40 minutes of free parking at our Express Pick-Up and Drop-Off area. This means you’ll be able to access a space quickly and easily when you arrive at the airport, making your journey to one of our exciting destinations easier and more convenient.

Accessible Bays for Blue Badge Holders

Our accessible Blue Badge airport parking bays are located close to the terminal in the following car parks:

  • Long Stay Car Park
  • Short Stay (Multi Storey) Car Park
  • Express Drop Off & Pick-Up (adjacent to the Multi Storey Car Park)
  • Fast Track Car Park
  • Fast Track Family Car Park.

Call Points are located near our accessible bays, or alternatively, you can call 0151 907 1030 for assistance.

Car Parks without Accessible Bays

Please note that there are no designated accessible Blue Badge bays in the following car parks (both around a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal building):

  • Park Smart Car Park
  • Drop-Off 2.

For accessible airport parking, Blue Badge holders are advised to use one of our other car parks instead. A map of the car park layout is available at the bottom of this page.

Blue Badge Permit Holders

Parking in an accessible bay for the duration of your trip? Please make sure your Blue Badge permit is clearly on display in your vehicle or if you need to take your Blue Badge with you, please display a photocopy of it.

If you need assistance from your vehicle to the terminal, contact our Assistance Team using the Yellow Call Points. Our Assistance Team can also obtain a Blue Badge replacement voucher if needed.

You can also ring from your vehicle on 0151 907 1030 between the hours of 04:00 and 21:00.

Express Pick-up & Drop-off Car Park

Travelling passengers who hold a valid Blue Badge can reclaim up to 40 minutes free parking in our Express Pick-up & Drop-Off car park.

You can apply for a refund on the parking charge by emailing the following to [email protected]:

  • A copy of your blue badge
  • A copy of your travel documents (must be issued in the same name as Blue Badge)
  • Your vehicle registration (to verify time spent in the car park)
  • Proof of payment

For proof of payment, please provide the first six and the last four digits of the debit/credit card used. If you used cash, please ensure you obtain a receipt and include a copy in your correspondence.

Please be advised you must press for a receipt before making payment, receipt will not be issued if you pay before selecting the receipt button.

Refunds only apply to stays under 40 minutes. If you spend more than 40 minutes in the car park the standard tariff applies and no refund will be issued.

Driving to Liverpool Airport via the Mersey Gateway Bridge and Silver Jubilee Bridge

If you cross the Mersey Gateway Bridge or the Silver Jubilee Bridge, make sure to register for a Blue Badge holder account. Blue Badge holders can cross both bridges for an unlimited amount of times at no extra charge once they have successfully registered in advance and paid the £5 registration fee.
